Chocolate, made properly, takes a little care.
At Greendale, our chocolates are made in small batches, by hand, using beautiful couverture and a great deal of attention. Some are made weekly, others almost daily, and all are created by Zoe in the tearoom itself. Rather than mass production or long shelf lives, we focus on freshness, flavour and craftsmanship; which means your chocolates are made with intention and ready for you to collect at their very best. Simply choose your chocolates online and place your order through our secure checkout. Once your order is complete, we’ll let you know when they’re ready for collection from Greendale Teahouse.

Yes — always. Our chocolates are made in small batches on a regular basis, ensuring they’re fresh, carefully handled, and never sitting around longer than they should.

Our core chocolate bars and truffles are made continuously in small batches. We produce them regularly so they remain fresh and ready to enjoy.
Seasonal and limited-edition collections (such as Christmas chocolates or Valentine’s bonbons) are made in limited quantities. For these, stock levels are carefully managed, and once they’re gone, they really are gone.

All payments are taken securely online using your debit or credit card. Your order confirmation email acts as your receipt and invoice.

Not just yet. At present, all chocolates are collection only from Greendale Teahouse during our opening hours. This allows us to maintain quality and ensure your chocolates are enjoyed in perfect condition. Mail order is something we plan to introduce in the future.

Orders are usually ready within 48 hours, provided we’re open.
As a guide:
Orders placed earlier in the week are typically ready later the same week.
Orders placed towards the end of the week are usually ready for collection over the weekend.
Once your chocolates are ready, we’ll send you a second email to let you know they’re good to go.

You’re welcome to collect your chocolates during our normal opening hours at Greendale Teahouse, once you’ve received your “ready for collection” email.

Yes, that’s absolutely fine. Just make sure they bring your order confirmation with them.
