Christmas Chocolates

A festive gift, handmade by Zoe

Pre-Orders Are Closed

Thank you so much for the incredible response to our first ever Christmas Chocolate Collection. We’ve been absolutely blown away — our small-batch pre-order allocation has now sold out far faster than we ever imagined.

As a tiny team making everything by hand (between busy daytime service!), we’re now pausing online pre-orders so we can focus on fulfilling the boxes already reserved.

But don’t worry — you’ll still be able to buy chocolates in the tearoom.

We’ll be making extra festive chocolates and handmade truffles throughout December, available in person at Greendale Teahouse while stocks last.

Thank you again for supporting our little chocolate adventure. We can’t wait to share these treats with you in the run-up to Christmas.

If you’re lucky enough to have placed a pre-order, then we’ll be in touch as soon as your box is ready!

See you soon!

Handmade at Greendale, with love
(and a lot of real Belgian chocolate)

Inside the Greendale Christmas Chocolate Collection

Each box contains 12 indulgent handcrafted chocolates, carefully decorated with natural coloured cocoa butter - each a piece of art and flavour using premium Belgian chocolate. Here’s the line-up of festive flavours:

  • Mince Pie – rum-soaked sultanas, warm spices, and a buttery sablée disc layered with dark & milk chocolate ganache, encased in rich dark chocolate.

  • Winter Spice Caramel – a buttery caramel delicately infused with festive spices: nutmeg, orange zest, cloves, and cinnamon-capturing the essence of Christmas, all elegantly enrobed in smooth dark chocolate.

  • Cherry, Sherry & Rum – tangy Morello cherry compote, gently infused with Pedro Ximénez sherry and a whisper of clove, pairs perfectly with a luxurious Caribbean rum ganache, embraced in velvety dark chocolate.

A green gift box with a ribbon bow, labeled 'Greendale,' next to a letter titled 'The Christmas Collection' listing three types of handmade Belgian chocolates: Mince Pie, Winter Spice Caramel, and Cherry, Sherry & Rum. There are also four marbled chocolate truffles and four grayish-blue candies on a tray.

How It Works

  1. Fill in the order form below to reserve your box (or boxes).

  2. We’ll email you an invoice – payment confirms your order.

  3. We’ll let you know when your chocolates are ready, and you can collect from Greendale Teahouse during our opening hours.

This first batch is limited – once we’re at capacity, pre-orders will close.

  • Each box comes with a best-before date on the base. Because they’re handmade with fresh ingredients and no preservatives, we recommend enjoying them within 2–3 weeks from collection for the very best flavour and texture. (Most people make it about three days…)

  • Not at all, the chocolates are at their best when stored at cool room temperature, away from sunlight and heat sources. Popping them in the fridge can cause condensation, which affects the chocolate’s shine and texture. A cool cupboard is perfect.

  • We’ll send you a friendly email as soon as your box is ready. Once you’ve had that message, you can collect from Greendale Teahouse during our opening hours.

  • Yes, of course. Just make sure they know the name the order was placed under; that’s all we need.

  • If we still have stock, absolutely. Boxes are priced at £20 each when not pre-ordered. But because this is a limited-edition batch, pre-ordering is the safest way to make sure you don’t miss out.

  • Not yet. We’re keeping this first batch collection-only to ensure the chocolates stay in perfect condition. If you’re unable to collect in person, please get in touch before ordering and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

  • Some chocolates contain common allergens such as nuts, dairy, and soya. Full ingredient and allergen information is printed on every box. If you are concerned about a specific allergy, please get in touch with us.

  • Just reply to your order confirmation email. Changes can be made up until the invoice has been paid. After payment, we’ll do our very best to help, but because stocks are limited, changes may not always be possible.
